<< The list of equipment for producing coatings

A unique data-processing and measuring complex (DMC) has been developed, which is protected by the RF patent and intended for solving research and applied tasks. The complex allows one to accurately measure the volt-ampere characteristics as well as the specific parameters of microplasma processes, i.e. specific active resistance and permittivity. The data obtained using the DMC make it possible to purposefully develop new electrolyte compositions, simulate technological processes and determine the parameters of a desired power source.

The DMC consists of a measuring unit and recording devices. A power source allows generation of bipolar voltage pulses of the rectangular shape, and a smooth control of the duration of each pulse, their frequency as well as the current amplitude and the voltage of both pulses.

The basic DMC technical characteristics

  • the range of the pulse voltage is from 0 to 600 V;
  • the maximum operation pulse current is 120 A;
  • the frequency range is from 0 to 10,000 Hz;
  • the range of variation of pulse duration from 10 to 2,000 μs;
  • the interval between positive and negative pulses from 10 to 1,000 μs.

A personal computer with analog-to-digital converters are used as recorders. A high-speed a.d. converter is used for every digital channel. Digitizing of the analog signal is performed on the basis of the Techtronics equipment.

The data-processing and measuring complex makes it possible to measure pulse current, voltages, volt-ampere dependences on the ascending and descending parts of the voltage pulse curve, which allows one to purposefully develop coatings and choose regimes and conditions for producing coatings. The DMC is of particular importance in the development of new trends of application of microplasma processes.
