 The technology of producing black MAO coatings is applied as a substitution of the conventional technologies of blackening aluminium.
The application areas are microelectronics, vacuum equipment, thermal radiators, optical components, panels of devices, decorative treatment of parts, etc. The technology has been tried out for aluminium, titanium and magnesium, and unlike the conventional methods of blackening, it is ecologically friendly, and the coatings have increased physico-mechanical properties, such as hardness, wear and heat resistance. The technology has been successfully used for treating components for a number of Tomsk enterprises and institutes: «Elesi», «Micran», «Opticom», Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS.
